Olympique de Marseille
The club was founded in 1899 as an omnisports club by a French sports official.
Also known as "Les Phocéens" from the Greek legacy of Marseille, the club's motto is "Droit au but" which means "Straight to the goal". Marseille became the first French club to win the UEFA Champions League in 1993 after beating Milan in the final played in Munich.
